The Attack of the B-Team pack uses version r35 of Dragon Mounts.

The Dragon Mounts Mod is a very popular mod that basically gives the dragon egg item, which is dropped by the Ender dragon when it is slain by a player, a purpose. Once you acquire the egg (which can be picked up by a piston) you can then hatch yourself your very own tamable pet dragon that can be ridden with a saddle. Apart from slaying the Ender dragon an easy alternative is to find them in dungeons.

Egg Hatching Speed: 20 minutes

Behavior[]

Young dragons are unable to fly and cannot

be tamed.

If a tamed dragon detects that its owner is falling, it will take flight and attempt to catch them (this does not occur in creative mode). Unless the dragon is told to sit (using a bone), it will follow the owner on the ground. If unmounted in the air, the dragon will descend and land on the ground.

Dragons do not take damage from cacti.

Types of Dragons[]

Water Dragon[]

A water dragon can be hatched by placing a dragon egg in a single block of water. You may need a bigger area of water because biomes can sometimes tamper with the egg.

Fire Dragon[]

A fire dragon can be hatched by placing a dragon egg in a block of lava. Lit furnaces may also cause the egg to hatch a fire drago

Aether Dragon[]

An aether dragon can be hatched by placing a dragon egg at least 20 blocks above cloud level. This variety flies slightly faster than other breeds.

Nether Dragon[]

A nether dragon can be hatched by placing a dragon egg and surrounding it with netherrack.

Forest Dragon[]

A forest dragon can be hatched by placing a dragon egg and surrounding it with leaves.

Ice Dragon[]

An ice dragon can be hatched by placing a dragon egg and surrounding it with snow blocks or ice. The ice dragon leaves a trail of ice where every it walks (like a snow golem).

Ghost Dragon[]

A ghost dragon can be hatched by placing a dragon egg on bedrock level in darkness. Once hatched, the dragon glows in the dark. (the coolest)

Ender Dragon[]

An Ender dragon can be hatched by

placing it without any recurments

Taming, Health, and Feeding[]

A full-grown dragon can be tamed by feeding it raw fish. Once tamed, they may be ridden using a saddle.

Dragons can be healed 4 hearts by feeding them raw fish, chicken, beef, or porkchops. Feeding rotten flesh restores 2 hearts.

They may be bred only once.

In general, they behave very similarly to wolves. Tamed dragons will attack any entities that the player strikes and will teleport to the owner (unless they are sitting).

Issues[]

Dragons may sometimes glitch - relogging may solve this issue.

Dragons are unable to swim, instead sinking to the bottom where they will not drown.
